Led by his family’s passion and expertise, Danilo Cascella manages a life project that involves passion which was started in the 50’s by his parents Umberto and Fiorella, well known creators of the famous CASCELLA stores.

The Cascella family opened up their first atelier in 1957 in Pescara, but were rewarded with success as they opened the Porto Cervo boutique, always crowded with Italian and International celebrities who, thanks to the accessories suggested by Cascella, have characterized the most exclusive events and evenings out. The boutique in Porto Cervo opened in 1967, when the Aga Khan started to build the Costa Smeralda with the intent to become the destination of the most exclusive tourism. The ideal place, Umberto Cascella thought, to open a luxury store.
The prince, however, was not of the same idea: "Here we need for now just fundamental services, like a barber", it told the aspirant entrepreneur. "Ok - Umberto relaunched without losing heart - if you make me open a shop of suits, I will install a barber shop too." This way the actual boutique was born in the piazzetta.

In 2007 the Cascella family opened a new store inside one of the most prestigious hotel in Italy: the Rome Cavalieri Waldford Astoria Collection. The choice of these two luxury hotels attended by an exclusive clientele perfectly matches with the prestigious collections that are displayed in both boutiques.

Danilo Cascella can dress anybody: from the dandy to the hippy-chic person, from classic to street style ones. He can clothe anyone who lives a life in the front line among parties and the beau monde and who loves a more rigorous style or simply those who feel at ease wearing jeans a t-shirt and sneakers. Danilo describes his customers as very special: people who travel without a suitcase, who control their style and fully interpret it. These are the people who immediately spot the items that best express their nature. His boutiques offers an original collection of 140 selected brands which originate all over the world. After discovering brands that became fashion leaders as Dsquared, Neil Barret, Antonio Marras and Frankie Morello, the art director Danilo Cascella, suggests Tom Rebl, Thomas Wilde, 2b, Tuvanam, Les Hommes, besides a group of italian designers as Dionisio, Aghy's, Ring, Hydrogene, Miss Bikini, Yes London and KD2024.

New challenges now see him busy with the valorization of the brand with the launch of a collection of products that will be produced in a limited edition, ranging from technology to automotive with a constant attention to design and experimentation. All rigorously PURPLE.
